Free Speech, Hate Speech: The 1st Amendment & the Internet
Civil Rights attorney Denise Lieberman will be joining me again for a talk that is more a discussion with the audience than it is a lecture. Denise & I will present real-life legal cases & situations that push the boundaries of free speech and engage the audience to play judge and rule as to what should have happened & why. After a spirited back-and-forth, we’ll reveal what really happened, why, & what those rulings meant for free speech law. Please note that some mature or disturbing situations may be described, but nothing explicit will be shown.
