On your computer, create a directory named zen-garden.

Go to http://csszengarden.com.

On the left side are these words:

Download the sample html file and css file

Right-click on html file & save the file into zen-garden. The file will be named zengarden-sample.html.

Right-click on css file & save the file into zen-garden. The file will be named zengarden-sample.css.

Create a copy of zengarden-sample.css & name it sample.css.

Going forward, you:

• WILL edit sample.css in order to create your Zen Garden theme.
• MAY look at zengarden-sample.css for information & inspiration.
• MAY NOT edit in any way zengarden-sample.html.

Once again, DO NOT EDIT zengarden-sample.html. Do not change it. Look but do not touch. There is no need to—the creators of the Zen Garden project have littered the HTML file with every possible ID & class you could ever need.

If you change it in any way, for any reason, you instantly lose two letter grades on your final.

To be clear: DO NOT EDIT zengarden-sample.html.
